Passage: The Gospel According to Matthew Matthew 5:27-32

In Matthew 5:27–32, Jesus shows us that lust is adultery at the heart level and that His people must take temptation seriously. In a culture that treats sexuality, purity, and marriage casually, Jesus calls us to guard the heart, cut off what leads us into sin, and honor the covenant of marriage. Yet the same Jesus who tells us the truth about our sin is the Savior who died for sinners, restores broken people, and gives mercy to all who come to Him in repentance and faith.
