Whether you call it a small group, life group, or something different, we encourage you to join a group of believers from OFBC to grow with and live life together. We have groups for all kinds of people in all seasons of life.
At OFBC, we encourage and challenge each believer to grow as a disciple of Christ. Sunday Night Equip is an opportunity to deepen your faith through corporate worship and Kingdom-focused teaching. Each series has a different focus and style and may include lecture-style teaching by one of our pastors or Christian teachers, small groups, classes, video studies, panel discussions, or Q&A sessions.
NEW MEMBERS CLASS
We welcome anyone to come and call OFBC home for as long as they like, but if you'd like to take another step in your journey, learn more about our beliefs, connect with other newcomers, covenant with us in membership, or serve in leadership, our New Members class is a great place to start. The class is a one-time, 3-hour session that includes lunch and childcare upon reservation. New Members Class takes place once a quarter.
OFBC is a church full of people who serve others in a wide variety of ways. From helping with Sundays, events, behind the scenes, in leadership, to serving the community, launching ministries and taking the good news to the ends of the earth.
Baptism is an amazing experience that allows you to publicly proclaim your decision to follow Jesus. We affirm Christian baptism as the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. Baptisms occur monthly during the Sunday morning service with one of our pastors. We want to celebrate your decision to follow Christ. Contact us to meet with a pastor!
We all have a part to play in God's plan to redeem the lost. Whether you pray, provide, or participate, you can help make disciples to fulfill the Great Commission.
