Passage: Genesis 6:5-8
The story of Noah’s Ark is more than a familiar children’s Bible story about animals and obedience; it is a sobering picture of the seriousness of sin and the certainty of God’s judgment. Yet in the darkness of the flood, God’s mercy shines as He provides a place of salvation in the ark, pointing us forward to Jesus Christ, the only refuge from wrath and the only hope for sinners.
Series Information

Genesis 22 tells the startling story of Abraham being commanded to offer Isaac, the son of promise, yet the point is not Isaac’s death but God’s provision. Abraham trusted that God would keep His promise, and God provided a substitute in Isaac’s place. This story points us forward to Jesus, the true Lamb of God, whom the Father gave to take away the sin of the world.
