bible study groups
Sunday morning Bible study groups are an opportunity to gather in Biblical community, encourage one another, and study scripture together in a smaller setting (8-12) for the purpose of taking the Gospel to others outside of our church community. All of our Sunday morning small group classes are studying through The Gospel Project which gives us another opportunity to connect with our students and kids around the message of the Gospel. There's nothing more important or transformative than the Word of God.
sunday night Equip
Our desire for discipleship at OFBC is to make the Bible and theology accessible to everyone through transformative learning environments within the church.
- Equip Studies are book and topical studies
- Equip-U is a certificate program that covers three core classes: Theology, Discipleship, and Bible Interpretation
NEW MEMBERS CLASS
We welcome anyone to come and call OFBC home for as long as they like, but if you'd like to take another step in your journey, learn more about our beliefs, connect with other newcomers, covenant with us in membership, or serve in leadership, our New Members class is a great place to start. The class is a one-time, 3-hour session that includes childcare upon reservation. New Members Class takes place once a quarter.
d-group
D-groups are smaller core, gender-specific groups of 3-5 who are striving and committing to a 12-18 month season of accelerated spiritual transformation with the purpose of multiplication, accountability, and spiritual growth.
serving teams
OFBC is a church full of people who serve others in a wide variety of ways. From helping with Sundays, events, behind the scenes, in leadership, to serving the community, launching ministries and taking the good news to the ends of the earth.
Baptism
Baptism is an amazing experience that allows you to publicly proclaim your decision to follow Jesus. We affirm Christian baptism as the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. Baptisms occur monthly during the Sunday morning service with one of our pastors. We want to celebrate your decision to follow Christ. Contact us to meet with a pastor!
Still unsure of how to know and have a relationship with God? We'd love to share how!
missions
We all have a part to play in God's plan to redeem the lost. Whether you pray, provide, or participate, you can help make disciples to fulfill the Great Commission.
