First Impressions Ministry:
Welcome Team – Door Greeter: At our church, the first moments when someone walks through the door matter deeply. We want every person—whether they’ve known Jesus for years or are just beginning to explore faith—to feel the warmth of God’s love from the very start. Our door greeters help create that atmosphere. This opportunity could also be a way to serve as a family if you are not already doing so once a month with the Children’s Ministry.
Your Role:
- Welcome each person with genuine joy and Christlike love
- Help guests feel comfortable, supported, and connected
- Offer simple guidance and answer questions with kindness
- Set the tone for worship by reflecting the heart of Jesus
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone with a naturally warm, inviting presence
- A believer who desires to show God’s love through hospitality
- A positive, encouraging communicator
- Someone reliable, prayerful, and eager to serve
Why This Matters:
A simple smile, a kind word, or a warm greeting can soften a heart, open someone to the presence of God, and even prepare them to receive Jesus for the first time. You’re not just holding a door—you’re helping open the door to a life-changing encounter with Christ. If you feel called to help others experience God’s love the moment they arrive, we’d love to have you on our team.
Bible Study Invitation Team: One to two Sunday’s a month, be willing to escort visitors to your class for Small Group Bible Study.
