In March 2025, a small group of folks will be heading to Albertville, France, to support a language school for future missionaries and distribute tracts in the community.
This trip is not through OFBC but is promoted by the Screven Baptist Association. We are looking for 4-5 folks to join in this wonderful opportunity!
What we’ll be doing:
- Providing light and witness in the Albertville and surrounding area through our words, actions, and the distribution of gospel tracts.
- Ministering to the future missionary families Assisting the school with low-bodily-impact projects that fit your talents and abilities (think gardening, sewing, etc...)
- Working with the missionary children
- singing, reading books, etc…
Why go:
France’s Evangelical Christian population is less than 2%, so part of our mission will be to shine as a light and witness in Albertville and its surrounding areas through our words, actions, and the distribution of gospel tracts.
At CCEF we will have the unique opportunity to minister to missionary families who are preparing to share the gospel worldwide. These families have sacrificed their homes and familiar surroundings to move to a foreign country, master a challenging language, and then use that language to spread Jesus' message in French-speaking regions.
Our time will be spent learning their stories, understanding their missions, and providing much-needed encouragement. Additionally, we will support the school and these families by utilizing our unique gifts and abilities.
This trip allows us to encourage and assist those answering the call to “Go” and contribute to the school that equips these families for their crucial work.

The Centre Chrétien d'Enseignement du Français (CCEF) is a language school located in the heart of Albertville, France teaching French to future missionaries.

- Do I need to know French?
No. French is not required. The families we will be ministering to speak English.
- What are the age requirements?
This missions trip opportunity is exclusively for adults aged 55+.
- Are flights included in the price?
No. Flight prices fluctuate so drastically we are not able to figure them into the price. However, we will handle booking the flights.
- Do I have to have travel insurance?
Travel insurance is highly recommended as your trip is non-refundable and all money will be required once your application is accepted.
Price: $2,300 per person:

- Accommodations
- Transportation in-country
- Private van for the group
- Breakfast in-country

- Flights (we can help book this)
- Lunch and Dinner

- Personal expenses or purchases
