Thur. May 1 Please pray concerning Katelyn’s book. The publishing process has gone very slowly and she has less than 19 days for it to be completed and the books to get to her before her Senior Thesis Reading. Sat. May 3 You prayed that Aiken would feel like home to Katelyn
and God abundantly answered. Katelyn can hardly wait to get there. Sun. May 4 Praise God for Mon. May 5 Pray for Pam as she begins finalizing plans for the Kid’s Fort Summer Camp program. Tue. May 6 Pray that all the details (bus, drivers, and activities) for Kid’s Fort Summer Camp field trips will fall into place. Wed. May 7 As Strategy Leader for the Maasai of Tanzania pray that
Dan will begin to formulate a plan of action for when we return to the field in
September. Thur. May 8 Pray that we will be able to find an apartment in Fri. May 9 We still have heard nothing from the medical department.
Pray that they will quickly grant us medical clearance to return to Sat. May 10 Pray for the juniors and seniors from School of the Arts as they have their prom tonight. Pray for good weather as they will be taking a dinner cruise. Pray that this will be a fun and memorable night for Katelyn. Sun. May 11 Pray for mothers today as we celebrate Mothers’ Day. Praise God for the mother He gave you whether she is still living or not. Mon. May 12 We praise the Lord for the possibility of partnering
with two churches. Pray for God to continue to guide these churches as they
seek His direction for future ministry with us. Tue. May 13 Pray for us as we begin developing a Master Plan for
those who would like to partner with us. Wed. May 14 Pray for the additional teacher position we have open at Kid’s Fort that God would bring the right person for the job. Thur. May 15 Praise the Lord for already bringing the person who will take over the Assistant Director position when I leave in August. Pray that she will quickly learn the ropes and settle in at Kid’s Fort. Fri. May 16 Continue praying for Katelyn and her group going on
World Changers in June. Sat. May 17 Pray that God will prepare Katelyn’s heart to hear His
voice in the days and weeks ahead. Sun. May 18 Strategy Leader training is taking place right now with
missionaries from the Central Section and in June will include those in the Southern
Section. They learn how to find teachable leaders, how to build into
their lives, how to encourage them to share and pass on what they learned to
others and how to continue to stimulate the multiplication of their
lives. Please pray that God will use this training now and in June. Mon. May 19 Pray for Katelyn as she takes her end of course exams this week. Pray that God will work through her as she typically has a hard time with test taking and she really needs to do well on all of her exams. Tue. May 20 Pray for Katelyn as she takes exams today. Pray for Katelyn and the other Senior Creative Writing students as they have their Creative Writing Senior Thesis Reading tonight. Pray for calm hearts and that each one will sell many of their books tonight. Wed. May 21 Pray for Katelyn as she takes exams today. Thur. May 22 Pray for Katelyn as she takes exams today. Fri. May 23 Pray for Katelyn as she takes exams today. Sat. May 24 Thank you for praying for those attending the
Theological Education Forum in March as they spent time analyzing the best way
to provide “just in time” training for pastors and church leaders that is
sustainable by local Baptists. Sun. May 25 Continue to pray for the six schools that IMB
missionaries started and six others across CESA that we cooperate with. Mon. May 26 Ask God to grant wisdom to the local Baptist leaders,
unions and conventions as they support their schools. Tue. May 27 Pray that God would continue to use this training to
equip leaders and stimulate church planting. Wed. May 28 Thank God for those that came from Southeastern Baptist
Theological Seminary to encourage and challenge us in this task. Thur. May 29 God answered your prayers as you prayed for a time of
recommitment to the task for the missionaries across the southern section of
CESA. Thank you for your prayers! Now continue to pray
for the Central section which will meet 14-19 July and the Eastern Section
meeting in late July and early August. May God and His Spirit have
freedom to work in every CESA missionary’s life. Fri. May 30 Pray for the School of the Arts seniors and their families as they celebrate the 2008 graduating class with a family picnic tonight. Pray that it will be a time of joy as this class has one of their final times together. Sat. May 31 Thank you for praying for the gathering of all singles
serving in Central, Eastern and |
