Rooted Student Ministry exists as a student ministry to partner with families of middle and high school students to engage and equip them with an unchanging biblical foundation for this changing world. It is our goal to present students working knowledge of the Gospel so that they may be “like a tree planted by streams of water” (Psalms 1). With the help of our parents we want to create opportunities for discussion so that the family may navigate the unsteady times with confidence in the grace of Jesus.
We offer two great opportunities for students to get involved with Rooted on a weekly basis plus many extra events throughout the year.
Join us Sunday mornings as we walk with our church through the Bible with age appropriate Sunday school classes. All of our classes meet upstairs above the gym in the Student wing. We will have leaders in the hallways welcoming students and leading them in the right direction. Our 9:30AM and 11:00AM schedule offers the same classes:
Join us between Sunday school hours for a small breakfast and a time of fellowship together.
Our Sunday Evening experience begins at 5:30pm. Students will spend time together in age and gender appropriate small groups walking through life together and learning God’s word. We offer small groups for:
6th Grade Guys
6th Grade Ladies
7th-8th Grade Guys
7th-8th Grade Ladies
High School Guys
High School Ladies
The small groups will take place above the Gym in the student wing. For the last half hour, we invite our parents of students to join us as we gather in a time of large group, student led worship.
If there are any questions feel free to reach out to our director of students, Luke Lethco, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office any time.
